Youth Academy (WAY) 北京市世青中学
This private school is rare in that it enrolls both Chinese and foreign
nationals, and offers both Chinese and English-language curricula.
Foreign students can either follow a traditional IB program or the
Chinese Foreign Language program, with the latter preparing them for
admission to a Chinese university. WAY is also a candidate school for
the IB Middle Years Program. More than 400 students from more than 40
nations attend. The school has an indoor pool, and it rents space at a
stadium with a track and soccer field.
Ages: 10-18
Price range: RMB 45,000 (bilingual program), RMB 85,000-95,000 (IB
program), RMB 48,000 (Chinese program).
