The British

The British School of Beijing offers the English National Curriculum
taught by UK qualified teachers, supported by the native
English-speaking teaching assistants. Approximately two hours of Chinese
instruction are provided weekly. The school has strict admission
requirements, including entrance exams and a limit on the number of
students requiring ESL support to no more than 20% of the total student
number in any class. Age appropriate English speaking and listening
skills are required for all children over five. The school's Shun-yi
campus, which boasts a full-sized football pitch, a 200-seat theater and
an indoor pool, enrolls students of foundation stage (pre-primary) to
secondary school age, while the Sanlitun campus enrolls foundation stage
and primary students.
